Enough.

I recently joined a virtual discussion about one word: Enough.

About thirty of us explored what those six letters meant in our lives.

The facilitator began with a simple question: What is your enough?

At first, I thought about possessions I had too many of, overwhelming obligations, draining work, obligatory commitments, and relationships past their sell-by date. For many of us, ‘enough is enough’ came easily, and with it came relief.

Then someone changed the question. What haven't you had enough of?

What haven't you had enough of—not things, but ways of being?

Without overthinking it, these were the first things that came to mind:

more compassion

more unhurried conversations

more community

more handwritten notes

more walks without a destination

more creative play

more forgiveness

It was a profound moment for me when I realized the beautiful thing was this: none of those opportunities had expired. They were still available, still waiting for more of me.

Maybe "enough" isn't just about deciding what to let go of. Maybe it's about choosing what deserves more of us while we still have the chance.

What are some things you haven’t had enough of in your life?

Let the answers flow from your heart.

#Small moments. Big questions.
